Founded in 2016 by Miss Alice Basemera Adyeri, Koogere Foundation Uganda is a non-governmental organization dedicated to safeguarding and harnessing cultural resources in the Tooro Kingdom, western Uganda.
Named after Koogere Rusiijamiryango Atwooki, a renowned female leader in pre-colonial Bunyoro-Tooro history, our foundation continues her legacy of leadership, morality, and community empowerment.
